is situated in an area loaded with history.
Many interesting sites can easily be reached by car and those who would like to add a little physical exercise and experience nature can take a bicycle. We rent good touring bikes with 18 or 21 gears.
We also organize tours, leading you through beautiful landscapes and villages.
Horseback riding (also for beginners) is another feature offering interesting rides into the countryside or you can ride in a coach.

There are still many untouched small villages with characteristically medieval architecture, churches and museums. Montreal which is about 15 km away with its traditional night markets for instance, churches and Donjon (towers), or you can visit Fources which is about 20 km away and see the only round bastide in the Gascogne, and the medieval castle of Larresingle are especially beautiful examples of this architecture.

The abbey of Flaran with its famous cloister and abbey garden is one of the few restored Zisterzienser abbeys in Gascogne as well as the church of La Romieu which still gives witness of the pilgrim pathes Saint Jaques to Santiago de Compostella.
Vinyards and castles invite you to come visit, do some wine tasting, or find out how Armagnac and Floc is made (and taste it afterwards!). Both are distilled exclusively in Gers due to the consistency of the soil.
Eauze, Nerac, Auch and Agen are the closest smaller cities with cathedrals, markets and medieval night markets, Restaurants, Bistros, providing you with all the atmosphere of typical southwestern French cities.
Marciac, which is about an hours drive away, holds its great international Jazz Festival every year in August. There is Jazz music everywhere, plenty of booths with odds and ends from all over the world, daily live concerts, the entire city strung with festive lights. This is an event you will never forget.

Daily trips to the Atlantic coast and hihing trips to the Pyrenees are possible in two hours by car.
